SELECTMEN’S MINUTES

OLD BUSINESS:
The minutes of May 14, 2002 were approved as written, signed and will be posted to our web page.
NEW BUSINESS:
Subject: Road Agent Assistant, A J May
HIGHLIGHTS:
Private vehicles are to be off Town Garage property unless otherwise authorized.
All junk to be discarded from Town Garage property.
All Payrolls to be discussed with Selectmen.
AJ replaced street signs, again.
The Board gave the go ahead to test the Grader which is ready to purchase for $25,000.
Subject: Brandon Giuda
HIGHLIGHTS:
Brandon Giuda called attention to the Board being responsible to carry out the Town meeting’s voted decisions and the legality issues thereof. Brandon Giuda would like to write a letter to the paper stating his views regarding the handling of the amended warrant article concerning Avitar.
Subject: Mr. & Mrs. Peter Holmes
HIGHLIGHTS:
Mr. & Mrs. Holmes recently purchased the home on 246 Main Street in Chichester, NH. They are interested in replacing the septic and the home itself. The Board approved the decision.
Subject: Paul Adams
HIGHLIGHTS:
Paul Adams inquired about the conservation easement progress and was referred to Jeffrey Andrews.
He also touched upon the traffic counters in town.
Subject: Walter Sanborn
HIGHLIGTS:
Walter Sanborn provided documents showing that Back Road should have been opened.

HIGHLIGHTS:
The Board Okayed that a new tape recorder be purchased
Spook Arey notified Heather that there was black smoke coming from the Chimney. The Boilers are in the process now to be cleaned and repaired.
Spook Arey has been granted a key to the front door to facilitate the rubbish removal.
The Board agreed to have the Tax Collector deed over the Ann Flanders property.
